Julia Johnson is a Boston-based electric violinist that redefines ambience in music. Growing up in the quiet town of West Chester, PA, the classically-trained violinist quickly paved her own way in her musical training. By the time she was in middle school, she was teaching herself how to write and produce compositions that blur the lines between her beat-based metal influences and the lyrical aura of her training.
Now, a current student at Berklee College of Music, Julia's music is rhythmic, intuitive, and rhapsodic. She carefully designs ambient orchestral soundscapes around these driving melodies, leaving listeners with an enrapturing sonic experience and a more intimate understanding of her than words can provide.
